Identity-labor interpellations: Social work or socio-technical work?

dc.descriptionThe social policies inspired by the New Public Management (NMP) are producing new subjectifications in the professions. Taking social work as a case study, the present article questions the interpretive repertoires related to the identity interpellations deployed in different policies social protection from the discourse analysis proposal of Potter & Wetherell. As a result, six discursive axes emerge, which symbolize an action limited and conditioned by quantifications, accountability, technologies, new materializations and less interactions with subjects and communities. The socio-technical configuration of those policies identifies social work in terms of training and its exercise in these work settings.en-US
dc.descriptionLas políticas sociales inspiradas en el Nuevo Management Publico (NMP) están produciendo nuevas subjetivaciones en las profesiones. Tomando como caso de estudio al trabajo social, el presente artículo se interroga desde la propuesta de análisis de discurso de Potter & Wetherell, por los repertorios interpretativos relacionados con las interpelaciones identitarias que se despliegan en diferentes políticas sociales de protección. Como resultado, emergen seis ejes discursivos que simbolizan una actuación que se limita y condiciona por cuantificaciones, rendiciones de cuenta, tecnologías, nuevas materializaciones y menor interacción con sujetos y colectividades. La configuración de carácter socio técnica en estas políticas tensiona identitariamente al trabajo social en términos de formación y su ejercicio en estos escenarios laborales.es-ES
