The objective of this work is to determine the type of learning methodology preferred by the students of the degree program in early childhood education. The research methodology used was quantitative, and cross-sectional, supported by social research techniques such as the focus group. Stated preference surveys were conducted, which were coded for modeling in Biogeme® software, designing utility functions and applying multinomial logit (MNL) models, determining the probability of choice by respondents. The education methodologies analyzed according to the opinion of the students were: the master class, problem-based learning, cooperative learning and the inverted classroom, and were measured with three important parameters or variables according to the population studied: significant learning, the skills that can be developed with the application of the methodology and its pedagogical practice component.El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar el tipo de metodología de aprendizaje preferida por las estudiantes del programa de licenciatura en educación infantil. La metodología de investigación utilizada fue cuantitativa, y de corte transversal, apoyadas en técnicas de investigación social como el grupo focal. Se realizaron encuestas de preferencias declaradas, las cuales fueron codificadas para su modelación en el software Biogeme®, diseñando funciones de utilidad y aplicando modelos tipo logit multinomial (MNL), determinando la probabilidad de escogencia por parte de las encuestadas. Las metodologías de educación analizadas de acuerdo con la opinión de las estudiantes fueron: la clase magistral, el aprendizaje basado en problemas, el aprendizaje cooperativo y el aula invertida, y se midieron teniendo en cuenta tres parámetros o variables importantes de acuerdo con la población estudiada: el aprendizaje significativo, las habilidades que se puedan desarrollar con la aplicación de la metodología y su componente de práctica pedagógica
