| dc.description | The irruption of the French Army in October 1806 to the German city of Jena is still a curious fact and full of interest for a meta-historical-philosophical analysis. That same day, in a workshop, a young private teacher watched as the Commander-in-Chief of said Army bursts into the plains, defeats the proud Prussian Army and enters the city victorious. Said professor wrote to a friend: “I have seen nothing less than history itself on horseback. Yesterday I saw Napoleon: in him the spirit of the world is embodied. It is indeed a wonderful sensation to observe such an individual, who, concentrated here in a single point, spreads out over the world and masters it”. The admiration and hope generated in a person by the irruption of an enemy in his country for the future of his country is, without a doubt, a new precedent in the world. Despite the Napoleonic invasion and political divisions, something held the Germanic peoples of central Europe together. This union went beyond facing a common enemy. This union would be strengthened in a few more years, until achieving full unification. | en-US |
| dc.description | La irrupción del Ejército francés en octubre de 1806 a la ciudad germana de Jena no deja de ser un hecho curioso y lleno de interés para un análisis meta-histórico-filosófico. Ese mismo día, en un taller de trabajo, un joven profesor particular contempló como el Comandante en Jefe de dicho Ejército irrumpe en las llanuras, derrota al orgulloso Ejército prusiano y entre victorioso en la ciudad. Dicho profesor escribía a un amigo: “He visto nada menos que la historia misma montada a caballo. Ayer vi a Napoleón: en él se encarna el espíritu del mundo. Es de hecho una sensación maravillosa observar a tal individuo, quien, concentrado aquí en un solo punto, se extiende por sobre el mundo y sus amos”. La admiración y l esperanza que genera en una persona la irrupción de un enemigo en su país para el futuro de su país es, sin duda, un nuevo precedente en el mundo. A pesar de la invasión napoleónica y de las divisiones políticas, algo mantuvo unido a los pueblos germánicos del centro de Europa. Dicha unión iba más allá de hacer frente a un enemigo común. Dicha unión se fortalecería en unos años más, hasta conseguir la plena unificación. | es-ES |
