| dc.description | We present synthesized results of exploratory research whose purpose was to answer questions related to job accidents in women from the nursing team in two Chilean teaching hospitals. Results of only two goals are analyzed: descriptive characteristics of this population, job accidents reported and statistical association among variables. This research improves knowledge of job accidents in nurses and auxiliary nurses because this topic is not explored in depth in other researches developed in Chile, and theoretical assumptions, derived from gender social relationships, are used as an analytic tool for the understanding of these events. | en-US |
| dc.description | Se presentan resultados sintetizados de investigación de tipo exploratoria que se propuso dar respuesta a interrogantes relacionadas con accidentes del trabajo en mujeres de equipos de enfermería de dos hospitales clínicos chilenos. Se analizan los resultados de dos objetivos orientados a investigar características descriptivas de esta población y de los accidentes del trabajo denunciados, así como la asociación estadística entre variables. Esta investigación se considera de gran relevancia por su contribución al conocimiento de los accidentes del trabajo en enfermeras y auxiliares paramédicos, fundamentalmente porque es un área prácticamente inexplorada en Chile. Se discute sobre supuestos teóricos derivados de las relaciones sociales de género como herramienta analítica para la comprensión de estos eventos. | es-ES |
