dc.descriptionIn this article I propose to read the novels written and published by Alberto Blest Gana in Paris putting in perspective the expansion of the human and geographic represented universe. Furthermore, I am interested in reflecting on the geopolitical imagery elaborated by the novelist around the global dimension, highlighting the new context as a promoter of the transformations evidenced in the corpus. Likewise, the approach seeks to highlight the emergence of a much more complex world conception than the previous one and characterized by the problematization of the hierarchical relations that occurred between Europe and Latin America in this scenario.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo propongo leer las novelas escritas y publicadas por Alberto Blest Gana en París, poniendo en perspectiva la ampliación del universo humano y geográfico representado. Me interesa, además, reflexionar sobre los imaginarios geopolíticos elaborados por el novelista en torno a la dimensión de lo global, destacando el nuevo contexto como un elemento promotor de las transformaciones evidenciadas en el corpus. Asimismo, la aproximación busca poner de manifiesto el surgimiento de una concepción del mundo mucho más compleja que la anterior y caracterizada por la problematización de las relaciones jerárquicas que se dieron entre Europa y Latinoamérica en este escenario.es-ES
