dc.descriptionThe following research will reflect on war and its nature in the context of Hegel’s philosophical system. Hegel’s war establishes its ontological foundation in the category of being-for-itself or self-affirmation: the need for all self-consciousness that pretends to be free, and that it can be reached through the dialectical process of recognition. This conception will be contrasted with the classic notion of the just war raised by Thomas Aquinas, by examining the place where negativity of evil has in both metaphysical systems, in order to determine if it is possible to understand the ethics of both wars in the same sense.en-US
dc.descriptionEn la presente investigación se reflexionará sobre la guerra y su naturaleza en el contexto del sistema filosófico de Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, estableciendo como su fundamento ontológico la categoría del ser-para-sí o autoafirmación, aquella necesidad de toda autoconciencia que pretende ser libre, y que se alcanza a través del proceso dialéctico del reconocimiento. Se contrastará esta concepción con la clásica noción de guerra justa planteada por Tomás de Aquino, examinando el lugar que la negatividad del mal tiene en ambos sistemas metafísicos, con el fin de determinar si es posible entender la eticidad de ambas guerras en un mismo sentido.es-ES
