dc.description	In the context of the pandemic of COVID-19, the article focuses on aged people and asks about two main subjects: on the one hand, loneliness and social relationships; on the other, aging itself and death. Regarding these aspects, the article exposes, firstly, the idea of respectivity (or respective reality), as is explained by the Spanish philosopher Xavier Zubiri; and, secondly, it exposes the approach to the phenomenon of aging and the idea of life as activity, as explained by the German thinker Max Scheler. Finally, we propose to apply both concepts to aged people: a human life will be better if the person is active and lives in a good and deep relationship with other people.	en-US
dc.description	En el contexto de la pandemia de COVID-19 el artículo se centra en las personas adultas mayores y pregunta acerca de dos tópicos: por una parte, por la soledad y las relaciones sociales; por otra, por el envejecimiento mismo y por la muerte. Considerando estas dimensiones, el artículo expone, primero, la idea de respectividad, tal como ha sido expuesta por el filósofo español Xavier Zubiri; y segundo, se expone la aproximación al fenómeno del envejecimiento y a la idea de vida como actividad, tal como es expuesta por el pensador alemán Max Scheler. Finalmente, se propone una aplicación de ambos conceptos a los adultos mayores: una vida humana será mejor, si la persona es activa y vive en buenas y profundas relaciones sociales.	es-ES
