| dc.description | This paper’s central aim is to show which have been the main themes that have articulated the international discourse of President Evo Morales Ayma, and how they determine the international insertion of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. We begin by describing the Bolivian socio-political context (2000-2006) and how it fits within “the new Latin-American left”; followed by the analysis of three speeches made by President Morales before the United Nations Organization (UNO), in order to find common elements or features in his international discourse. The first speech was delivered before the UN’s General Assembly on September 19, 2006 (his first intervention before this agency). The second, on September 24, 2007 (Summons to discuss climate change). The third and last was delivered on December 17, 2009, during the XV Summit on Climate change in Copenhagen. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo, tiene como objetivo central evidenciar cuáles han sido los ejes temáticos que han articulado el discurso internacional del presidente Evo Morales Ayma, y cómo éstos perfilan la inserción internacional del Estado plurinacional de Bolivia. Para el desarrollo del trabajo primero se describe el contexto socio-político boliviano (2000-2006), y cómo éste se encuadra dentro de “la nueva izquierda latinoamericana”; posteriormente, se analizan tres discursos pronunciados por el presidente Morales ante la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), con el fin de encontrar elementos o rasgos comunes en su discurso internacional. El primer discurso fue pronunciado ante la Asamblea General de dicho organismo el día 19 de septiembre de 2006 (su primera intervención ante dicho organismo). El segundo, el 24 de septiembre de 2007 (Convocatoria para discutir sobre el cambio climático). El tercero y último fue pronunciado el día 17 de diciembre de 2009, en la XV Cumbre del Cambio Climático en Copenhague . | es-ES |
