| dc.description | The object of this study is to analyze the Colombian State’s role and its effects on the internal crisis. The State and the political system have failed to modify their structures to give way to a more democratic model with the participation of new political forces. On the contrary, the closed structures of the Frente Nacional remain, and even though the National Constitution has changed, the State has not been transformed, triggering an internal crisis during the last two decades and the persistence of the armed conflict. | en-US |

El Estado y el sistema político no han modificado sus estructuras para dar paso a un modelo más democrático con la participación de nuevas fuerzas políticas, sino que por contrario permanecen las estructuras del régimen cerrado del Frente Nacional. Aunque haya cambiado la Constitución Nacional, el Estado no se transformó, lo que ha desencadenado una crisis de orden interno, en las últimas dos décadas y la continuidad del conflicto armado. | es-ES |
