| dc.description | The heritage neighborhood appears linked to discourses of resistance to urban transformations, emerging a movement that advocates the construction of heritage from communities, in a narrow vision with identities and ways of life that challenge both the neoliberal configuration of the city and the proposed conception of heritage by the institutionality. The objective of this article is to understand the development and the logic actions of the movement made up of citizen organizations linked to the defense of heritage neighborhoods in Greater Santiago, investigating both the actions and strategies carried out to redefine their neighborhoods and their articulation for the vindication of the heritage as an element of urban development. | dc.description | El barrio patrimonial aparece ligado a discursos de resistencia ante las transformaciones urbanas, a partir del que emerge un movimiento que aboga por la construcción de patrimonio desde las comunidades, en estrecha visión con identidades y modos de vida que desafían tanto la configuración neoliberal de ciudad como la concepción de patrimonio propuesta por la institucionalidad. El objetivo de este artículo es comprender el desarrollo y lógicas de acción del movimiento compuesto por organizaciones ciudadanas vinculadas a la defensa de barrios patrimoniales en el gran Santiago, indagando tanto las acciones y estrategias realizadas para resignificar sus barrios como su articulación para la reivindicación del patrimonio como elemento de desarrollo urbano.
