| dc.description | This article seeks to make an approximation to the treatment that since the government of Hugo Chávez (1999-2012) was given to the different social groups. We intend to answer the question: how was the relationship that Chávez established with the bourgeoisie, the middle class and the Venezuelan working class before and after the 2002 putsch? Because it is necessary to ponder on the way in which classes are related to progressive governments, as well as this is related to social classes, in order to determine the class content of the government, beyond public statements and to be able to evidence the ideological contradictions of Chavismo. | en-US |

Pretendemos responder a la pregunta: ¿cómo ha sido la relación que Chávez estableció con la burguesía, la clase media y la clase obrera venezolana antes y después del golpe de Estado del 2002? Por cuanto se hace necesario reflexionar acerca de la forma en que las clases se relacionan con gobiernos progresistas, así como este se relaciona con las clases sociales, para poder determinar el contenido de clase del gobierno, más allá de las declaraciones públicas y poder evidenciar las contradicciones ideológicas del chavismo. | es-ES |
