The aim of this article is to review the researches on Reading Sciences from the point of view of the Cognitive Psychology and the Neurosciences of Education. The researches in Educational psychology, Cognitive psychology and the Neurosciences of the Education have showed the brain processes acting during the learning of the written language and the origins of dyslexia. Pyschopedagogical interventions on phonological awareness in the teaching of reading have aided dyslexic children to map letters into sounds and reading and have rewired some areas of the brain.Este artículo hace una revisión de las Ciencias de la Lectura desde el punto de vista de la Psicología Cognitiva y de las Neurociencias de la Educación. La integración de las investigaciones entre la psicología cognitiva, la psicopedagogía y las neurociencias han dado a conocer los procesos cerebrales que suceden durante el aprendizaje del lenguaje escrito y han mostrado las deficiencias que se producen en las dislexias. Las intervenciones fonológicas en la enseñanza de la lectura han favorecido el aprendizaje lector y producido una reorganización de algunas áreas cerebrales en niños de seis a nueve años.
