| dc.description | El presente artículo se enmarca en la primera etapa del proyecto “Música, Masonería y Sociedad. Copiapó y Valparaíso, 1850-1906” y describe prácticas musicales de la élite copiapina afín a este pensamiento: Actores relevantes, espacios, tipos de repertorio y eventos, presencia de músicos connotados, compañías y agrupaciones de renombre nacional e internacional, tanto en el ámbito público como privado. Para ello se ha recurrido a la prensa local, fuentes asociadas a la masonería, y un gran corpus musical, que comprende álbumes de partituras, métodos e instrumentos musicales. Se establece con esto posibles líneas de profundización para la futura etapa. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article is belongs to the first stage of the project "Music, Freemasonry and Society. Copiapó and Valparaíso, 1850-1906” and describes the musical activity performed by the local elite that were related to this thought: Relevant actors, spaces, types of repertoire and events, presence of renowned musicians, companies and national and internationally renowned groups, both in the public and private spheres. For this end, the local press, sources associated with Freemasonry, and a great musical corpus, which includes music albums, methods and musical instruments, were used.
