| dc.description | The objective of this article is to generate an approach to the life of the religious community of the Oblate Mothers of the Heart of Jesus and Mary from the city of Cuenca-Ecuador at the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, through an overview historical and chronological of the feminine communities in Ecuador and specifically of the Oblate Congregation and of the mothers who excelled in the musical chore.In the same way, a study of the musical archive is carried out, through the selection of the work Misa del Santísimo by the composer A.
