| dc.description | El presente artículo hace una aproximación a la capilla de música que la Universidad de Salamanca mantuvo entre 1738 y 1801 y a su repertorio, desde la óptica de su contribución a un modelo celebrativo. En primer término se revisa la evolución de la organización festiva universitaria en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII, que mientras afecta fuertemente a las manifestaciones laicas, apenas se deja sentir en las religiosas. La capilla de música aparece asociada a este último ámbito, y se evidencia su papel como elemento de representación institucional. A continuación se ofrece una panorámica general del repertorio y su contexto ceremonial, incidiendo en la evolución estilística y progresiva divergencia de villancicos y cantadas. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This paper presents an approach to the music chapel that the University of Salamanca held between 1738 and 1781 and its repertoire from the perspective of their contribution to a celebrative model. First, the study reviews the evolution of the academic festive organization in the first half of the eighteenth century which greatly affected secular celebrations but is hardly perceived in the religious ones.
