Pero aquélla es una prolongación del espíritu depredador al cual esta obra se refiere. Pues el director realiza una serie de omisiones, reducciones y adulteraciones de aspectos de la vida de Violeta, que no guardan relación con la dimensión profética de El gavilán, referida a la prefiguración del fascismo en Chile.
