dc.descriptionEl artículo propone una interpretación narrativa de las 5 Doloras de Alfonso Leng, estudiando la trayectoria narrativa del ciclo, especialmente entre las piezas nº 1, nº 4 y nº 5. Se postulan relaciones intertextuales con lieder de Schubert y Schumann y la presencia de los arquetipos culturales del Caminante romántico y del Vuelo. Se basa en teorías recientes sobre la narratividad musical, concepciones psicodinámicas sobre la armonía cromática de principios del siglo XX, declaraciones del compositor y en observaciones sobre las relaciones estructurales entre las piezas y las acotaciones líricas que escribiera Pedro Prado para ellas, además de estudios recientes sobre la historia cultural chilena. El estudio busca aportar al conocimiento de la música de este compositor desde el análisis musical, llamando la atención sobre la falta de investigaciones desde esta perspectiva en comparación con acercamientos musicológicos que estudian el discurso sobre la música y los compositores.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe article proposes a narrative interpretation of the 5 Doloras by Alfonso Leng, studying the narrative trajectory of the cycle, especially between pieces nº 1, nº 4 and nº 5. Intertextual relations are postulated with the lieder of Schubert and Schumann and the presence of the cultural archetypes of the Romantic Walker and the Flight. It is based on recent theories on musical narrativity, psychodynamic conceptions on chromatic harmony from the beginning of the 20th century, statements by the composer and observations on the structural relationships between the pieces and the lyrical stage directions that Pedro Prado wrote for them, as well as recent studies on Chilean cultural history. The study seeks to contribute to the knowledge of the music of this composer from musical analysis, drawing attention to the lack of research from this perspective compared to musicological approaches that study the discourse on music and composers.en-US
