| dc.description | It is documented and discussed the finding of insects within a “funeral bundle” from the Topater archaeologic cemetery (Atacama, Calama’s province), that are dated by termoluminescence between 1.025 ± 100 a 2.630 ± 260 years before present (B.P.). It was found the presence of Dermestes peruvianus and Anthrenus sp. (Coleóptera, Dermestidae), together with Tineidae (Lepidoptera) and puparium of two species of Sarcophagidae (Díptera). It is concluded that coleóptera carne from the bundle post storage. Instead, the Sarcophagidae are contemporaneous with the mommies of funeral bundles coming from the post mortem decomposition. | en-US |
| dc.description | Se documenta y discute el hallazgo de insectos encontrados en “fardos funerarios” del cementerio arqueológico de Topater (Provincia de Calama, Chile) que presentan una fecha por el método de termoluminiscencia entre 1025 ± 100 a 2630 ± 260 A.P. Se determina la presencia de Dermestes peruvinus y Athremus sp (Coleóptera, Dermestidae), Tineidae (Lepidoptera) y puparium de dos especies de Sarcophagidae (Díptera). Se concluye que los coleópteros son de origen postalmacenaje y que los Sarcophagidae son coetáneos a las normas de los fardos funerarios, producto del proceso de descomposición postmortem. | es-ES |
