In the next assignment we will realized some approaches about the rol politicianthat the Constantinople's senate occupied inside of the institutional scaffolding of the Eastern roman empire. About o f little reconstruction o f the origin of the institutesenatorial, where we will analyzed the social composition o f the members of thesame, we will focus our attention in the XI century. Traditionally considered thiscentury like a “not turning point” for the structural framework of the Easternempire, view the simultaneous crisis o f a political, military and economic naturethat transited their respective subsystems, we will pretend highlight how theSenate was becoming in a space o f power that really could come to exercise a truly“institutional pressure”. However, our analysis c o u ld n 't escape in comparativeperspective another institutes that they exercised like “interested groups”:theimperial Army and the Patriarchy of Constantinople.En el presente trabajo realizaremos algunas aproximaciones acerca del rol políticoque ocupaba el Senado de Constantinopla dentro del andamiaje institucional delImperio Romano de Oriente. A partir de una breve reconstrucción del origen de lainstitución senatorial, en donde analizaremos la composición social de los miembros dela misma, centraremos nuestra atención en el siglo XI. Tradicionalmente consideradoeste siglo como un “punto de no retorno” para el marco estructural del Imperio deOriente, habida cuenta las simultaneas crisis de índole política, militar y económicaque transitaron sus respectivos subsistemas, nosotros pretendemos destacar comoel Senado se fue convirtiendo en un espacio de poder que realmente podía llegar aejercer una verdadera “presión institucional” dentro de relaciones políticas signadaspor la conflictividad y el consenso. Sin embargo, nuestro análisis no podrá escapar deconsiderar en perspectiva comparada otras instituciones que ejercían como “gruposde interés": el Ejército imperial y el Patriarcado de Constantinopla.
