dc.description	This is a piece of descriptive and comparative research which aimed at finding out the motor performance, the congnitive competencies, the qualitative development of basic motor skills and NB1 and NB2 students' s opinions of the First Level of Primary Education. The research instrument consisted of a set of tests devised by former if DIGEDER, C.P.I.E.P., of the Ministry of Education, 1998, which concentrate on assessing the main and complementary objectives, plus the compulsory minimun contents described in the Education Program. The assessment procedure considers four tests for each level. The following are the ones corresponding to level NB1: a) test of basic movements, b) answers to oral questions related to the knowledge of segments, articulations, main and secondary positions and space-time notions, c) answers to a questionnaire in which the students give their impressions about what they think, feel and do regarding certain activities, and d) answers to a questionnaire about their classmates. The assessment procedure corresponding to level NB2 considers the following tests: a) tests of basic movement combination, b) performance and combination of basic motor skills connected to problems of space, time and dynamics, c) motor answers to given commands related to space and time notions d) answers to a questionnaire where the learners express what they think, feel and tend to do.	en-US
dc.description	Es un estudio de tipo descriptivo comparativo, en el cual se conoció el desempeño motor, las competencias cognitivas, el desarrollo cualitativo de las habilidades motoras básicas y la opinión de los estudiantes del NB1 y NB2 del primer Ciclo de Educación General Básica. El instrumento de medición para la obtención de los datos, fue una Batería de pruebas diseñadas por la ex DIGEDER, el C.P.I.E.P., del Ministerio de Educación Pública 1998, que mide objetivos fundamentales y complementarios así como los contenidos mínimos obligatorios que señala el Programa de Educación. La cantidad de procedimientos evaluativos que contiene esta batería incluye cuatro instrumentos para cada nivel. En el NB1 tiene las siguientes pruebas: a) pruebas de movimientos básicos, b) responder a indicaciones verbales relacionadas con conocimientos de segmentos, articulaciones, posiciones fundamentales y derivadas y nociones espacio temporal, c) responder a un cuestionario donde manifiesta lo que piensa, siente y tiende a hacer con respecto a diferentes actividades y d) responder a un cuestionario con respecto a sus compañeros de curso. El instrumento del NB2 tiene las siguientes pruebas: a) pruebas de combinación de movimientos básicos b) ejecución y combinación de habilidades motoras básicas relacionadas con problemas de espacios, tiempo y dinámica, c) respuestas motoras a órdenes dadas en relación a nociones espaciales y temporales d) responder a un cuestionario donde manifiesta lo que piensa, siente y tiende a hacer.	es-ES
