dc.descriptionEl estudio revisa la tendencia electoral de las mujeres en la Provincia de Ñuble actual Región de Ñuble en el periodo 1970–1973, utilizando fuentes primarias en las elecciones presidenciales de 1970, de regidores de 1971 y parlamentarias de 1973. Se evalúa el comportamiento electoral de las mujeres de la provincia, en concordancia con las dinámicas de género y los factores sociopolíticos que orientaron la tendencia de voto en el periodo de estudio. Se presentan dos etapas de trabajo: una aproximación al panorama nacional del voto de las mujeres, y una cartográfica que caracteriza esta misma en los departamentos electorales de la Provincia de Ñuble. La investigación se desarrolla con un enfoque mixto cualitativo que relaciona la propaganda electoral que apelaba al género; y cuantitativo basado en datos estadísticos que evidencian diferencias en cuanto a la votación de mujeres y hombres en las opciones políticas de izquierda, centro y derecha. Los resultados del estudio indican que el voto de las mujeres se orienta hacia los candidatos y partidos conservadores, aunque se reconoce una izquierdización del electorado femenino en el periodo de estudio.  es-ES

dc.descriptionThe study reviews the electoral tendency of women in the province of Ñuble, now the Region of Ñuble, in the period 1970-1973, using primary sources in the presidential elections of 1970, the municipal elections of 1971 and the parliamentary elections of 1973. The electoral behavior of women in the province is evaluated, in accordance with the dynamics of gender and the socio-political factors that oriented the voting tendency in the period under study. Two stages of work are presented: an approximation to the national panorama of women's voting, and a cartographic one that characterizes this same in the electoral departments of the province of Ñuble. The research is developed with a mixed qualitative approach that relates the electoral propaganda that appealed to gender; and a quantitative approach based on statistical data that evidences differences in terms of women and men voting in the political options of left, center and right. The results of the study indicate that women's vote is oriented towards conservative candidates and parties, although a leftistization of the female electorate is recognized during the study period.  en-US
