| dc.description | Currently there are important changes on a global scale that descend to rural areas. In these transformation scenarios, governments, agencies and international organizations seek new paradigms of intervention that allow the interrelationship of both public and private actors to implement policies that take advantage of the synergies resulting from their joint actions. The territorial approach to rural development is thus presented as a strategic vision that can contribute to strengthening the economic, social and environmental development of rural areas. For this, it is necessary to establish substantial management models in accordance with the competitiveness and attraction of the territories, which requires knowing their strengths and weaknesses. In order for scientists to be able to provide compelling elements in aiding decision-making, it is not only necessary to have a good knowledge of the disciplinary field of the subject in question, but also to make use of the applied science that current technologies provide. In this sense, Geographic Information Systems are a tool that allows good political decisions to be made based on georeferenced scientific information. The main idea of the work that has been developed is to present the process of agriculturization registering the Argentina territory from the last decades of the last century to the present, managing the territory at sight. | dc.description | En la actualidad se registran importantes cambios a escala mundial que afectan a los espacios rurales. En esos escenarios de transformación los gobiernos, las agencias y los organismos internacionales buscan nuevos paradigmas de intervención que permitan interrelacionar a los actores tanto públicos como privados para implementar políticas que aprovechen las sinergias resultantes de sus actuaciones conjuntas. El enfoque territorial del desarrollo rural se presenta así, como una visión estratégica que puede contribuir a fortalecer el desarrollo económico, social y ambiental de los espacios rurales. Para ello resulta sustancial establecer modelos de gestión acorde con la competitividad y atracción de los territorios, lo que obliga a conocer sus fortalezas y sus debilidades. Para que los científicos puedan brindar elementos contundentes en la ayuda para la toma de decisiones no solo es necesario conocer bien el campo disciplinario del tema que se trate, sino también hacer uso de la ciencia aplicada que las tecnologías actuales brindan. En este sentido los Sistemas de Información Geográfica son una herramienta que permite tomar decisiones políticas sobre la base de buena información científica georreferenciada. El trabajo que se presenta enfoca el tema del desarrollo territorial rural mediante la presentación del proceso de agriculturización que registra el territorio argentino desde las últimas décadas del siglo pasado a la actualidad. Para ello propone gestionar con el territorio a la vista. Se ejemplifica el fenómeno mediante la utilización de algunos resultados de un proyecto anterior, que se desarrolló con utilización de tecnología SIG. | es-ES |
