dc.descriptionPseudococcus cribata González, 2011 is distributed in Chile from Valparaíso to Biobío and their hosts are Vitis uinifera, Púnica granatum , Vaccinium sp, and Conuoluulus aruensis. Despite being aspecies whose female was described recently, is established in the barracks of table grape production in Región VI- The aim of the study is to contribute to the knowledge of Pseudococcidae of Chile, characterized morphologically the adult male and the first instar nymph of P. cribata and comparing with other mealybugs developed in table grape, for which microscopic slides were prepared for each stage of development mentioned of P. cribata, P. uiburni (Signoret) and P. longispinus (Targioni Tozzetti). On the observations of these differences were detected in the adult male P. cribata with other species, like lack of sclerotic regions heavily in the chest and form the third antenito. As for the first instar nymph inelude overall body shape and the caudal end. The results show that although the morphological study of males and nymphs Pseudococcidae is still incipient, its development provides utility for species identification and subsequent management of pests.en-US
dc.descriptionPseudococcus cribata González, 2011 se distribuye en Chile desde Valparaíso al Biobío y sus hospederos son Vitis uinifera, Púnica granatum, Vaccinium sp. y Conuoluulus aruensis. A pesarde ser una especie cuya hembra fue descrita recientemente, se encuentra establecida en los cuarteles de producción de uva de mesa de la VI Región. El objetivo del estudio es aportar al conocimiento de Pseudococcidae de Chile, caracterizando morfológicamente al macho adulto y a la ninfa de primer estadio de P. cribata y comparándolos con otros pseudocóccidos que se desarrollan en vid, para lo cual se elaboraron preparaciones microscópicas de cada estado de desarrollo mencionado de P. cribata, P. longispinus (Targioni Tozzetti) y P. viburni (Signoret). En las observaciones de éstas se detectaron diferencias entre el macho adulto de P. cribata y las otras especies, como la carencia de regiones fuertemente esclerosadas en el tórax y la forma del tercer antenito. En cuanto a la ninfa de primer estadio, destacan la forma general del cuerpo y del extremo caudal. Los resultados demuestran que aunque el estudio morfológico de machos y ninfas de Pseudococcidae aún es incipiente, su desarrollo aporta utilidad para la identificación de especies y consecuente manejo de las plagas.es-ES
