| dc.description | This article analyzes the concerts and festivals of music rock performed in Santiago between 1973 and 1983. In those years, there was a silent pose of the musicians and audiences toward the military regime. Though, signs of a critical and hopeful stance emerged slowly and gradually. The government expressed its internal conflicts too by blending repression with support for live music shows, through the Secretaría Nacional de la Juventud, Radio Nacional de Chile, and the written press, all those faithful to the military dictatorship. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este trabajo, analizo conciertos y festivales de rock realizados en Santiago entre 1973 y 1983. Propongo que durante esos años, si bien predominó entre músicos y audiencia el mutismo frente al régimen, paulatinamente emergieron señales de una postura más crítica y a la vez esperanzadora, mientras que el gobierno de facto expresó sus propias contradicciones internas, mezclando represión y apoyo a conciertos, esto último mediante la Secretaría Nacional de la Juventud, Radio Nacional de Chile y prensa escrita fiel a la Dictadura. | es-ES |
