dc.descriptionAs a result of the changes that had to be implemented in social interventions due to the COVID-19 pandemics and its ensuing challenges for community work on social and territorial integration issues, this article develops an exploratory research to explore the perceptions of beneficiaries and implementers of the Social Integration Plan –in its virtual modality– as of 2020. The aim was to assess the possibilities involved in remote work for integration into the new neighborhood and the strengthening of social cohesion in these territories. A mixed methodology was used, introducing surveys and semi-structured interviews with program participants and their implementers. dc.descriptionA raíz de los cambios que debieron implementarse en intervenciones sociales producto del COVID-19 y sus consecuentes desafíos para el trabajo comunitario en temáticas de integración social y territorial, en el presente artículo se desarrolla una investigación exploratoria que indaga en las percepciones de las y los beneficiarios e implementadores del Plan de Integración Social –en su modalidad virtual– implementado a partir del año 2020. Se buscó evaluar las posibilidades que presenta el trabajo remoto para la integración al nuevo barrio y el fortalecimiento de la cohesión social en estos territorios. Se utilizó una metodología mixta que incorporó encuestas y entrevistas semiestructuradas, con participantes del programa y sus implementadores. Los resultados muestran que estos actores interpretan las facilidades de asistencia como un aspecto positivo para la organización vecinal; no obstante, se detectan desafíos para desarrollar procesos de participación más activos e inclusivos con toda la comunidad.es-ES
