dc.descriptionThis work aims to present, in the form of a bibliographical review, and froma phenomenological perspective, an understanding of the experience of dwelling and architectural design. The starting point is the premise of «experience design» that circulates in certain parts of collective thinking, where it is considered that it is possible to design experiences. On our part, we seek to clarify the understanding of the concept of experience that we refer to when we speak in terms of architecture: the experience of dwelling. To do this, we showcase the thoughts of architects and theorists that help us to construct the concept in an operational manner. Subsequently, we propose that this experience of dwelling is the intentionality behind all architectural production and its processes. Finally, we attempt to answer the question: Can the experience of dwelling be designed? Through this, we clarify what we design in architectural design and its relationship with the experience of dwelling.en-US
dc.descriptionPresentaremos, a modo de revisión bibliográfica y desde una mirada fenomenológica, un entendimiento sobre la experiencia del habitar y el diseño arquitectónico. El punto de partida es la premisa del «diseño de experiencias» que ronda por algunas partes del pensamiento colectivo donde se considera que es posible diseñar experiencias. Por nuestra parte tratamos de aclarar el entendimiento del concepto de experiencia al que nos referimos cuando hablamos en términos de arquitectura: la experiencia del habitar. Para ello mostramos las reflexiones de arquitectos y teóricos que nos ayudan a construir el concepto de manera operativa. Posteriormente, planteamos que esta experiencia del habitar es la intencionalidad de toda producción arquitectónica y de sus procesos. Finalmente, tratamos de responder a la pregunta ¿se puede diseñar la experiencia del habitar? Con esto, esclarecemos, de cierto modo, qué es lo que diseñamos en el diseño arquitectónico y la experiencia del habitar.es-ES
