dc.descriptionThis paper seeks to expose the background, approaches, and central criticisms of the social acceleration thesis. It is proposed that the fundamental aspects of this theorization on social time correspond to a model of special interest for the contemporary world given its capacity to articulate theory and empirical studies. It is postulated that this articulation represents an axis of special interest for current critical theory.en-US
