| dc.description | In the following article, a historical perspective is presented regarding the discursive and political construction of the movement of people, organizations, and ideas that have shaped and formed the so-called Mapuche thought in Chile. All of this is done in the context of an autonomist and self-determination proposal for the Mapuche people within the framework of Chile's monocultural nation-state. Utilizing the historical method and source confrontation, this proposal is theoretically grounded in the debates surrounding colonialism, subalternity, and decolonization in Latin America and the Caribbean. | en-US |
