This paper presents the current reality of biblical studies in Chile, with a retrospective two very important milestones such as: Jünemann Bible and the Latinoamericana Bible, then going to present the current status of these studies from the Catholic perspective. A corollary is attached a list of biblical that accounts for the last ten years of biblical research in Chile.El presente trabajo muestra la realidad actual de los estudios bíblicos chilenos, haciendo una retrospectiva a dos hitos de vital importancia como son: la Biblia de Jünemann y la Biblia Latinoamericana, pasando luego a presentar el estado actual de dichos estudios desde la perspectiva católica. Como corolario se adjunta un elenco bibliográfico que da cuenta de los últimos diez años de investigación bíblica en Chile.
