The present pages include an investigation about the situation of women in the Judaism of the second temple. Its study is based -mainly- on the literary sources of the intertestament, including also canonical Christian texts. The social, family and religious situation of the s. I d.C. they realize that the role of women was marked by the mother`s role, in charge of domestic affairs, without public or religious participation.For its part in the Jewish community of Qumran there is doubt whether there were women or not among the qumranites, later in the rabbinic literature, the feminine allusions are marked by engagement normatives and depending on the male. However, the written testimony about Jesus’ behavior with women would be novel – although imbued with the Jewish culture of the time – by highlighting a break with the socio-cultural patterns of the time.Las presentes páginas recogen una investigación sobre la situación de la mujer en el judaísmo del segundo templo. Su estudio se basa –principalmente– en las fuentes literarias del intertestamento, incluyendo también textos cristianos canónicos. La situación social, familiar y religiosa del s. I d.C. da cuenta que el papel de la mujer estaba marcado por el rol de madre, encargada de las cosas domésticas, sin participación pública ni religiosa. Por su parte en la comunidad judía de Qumrán está la duda si hubo o no mujeres entre los qumranitas; posteriormente en la literatura rabínica, las alusiones femeninas van marcadas por normativas esponsales y en función del varón. Sin embargo, el testimonio escrito sobre el comportamiento de Jesús con las mujeres será novedoso –aunque imbuido por la cultura judía de la época– al destacar un rompimiento de los esquemas socio-culturales de la época.
