| dc.description | Although there is not so much talk about the phenomenon of sects as it did decades ago, it is still something current and affects a large number of people. The author offers some statistical data to verify the reality of the new religiosity and its latest manifestations. After summarizing the analysis, that has made the Magisterium of the Catholic Church on the subject and the consequent pastoral proposals, he proposes what should be the role of Catholic universities when facing this social and religious challenge. | en-US |
