Who exercises pastoral care is contacted with the total man but also the limits of the human condition. It is important to think about who is the man and what those limits are to assist fully. In this paper some concepts that help observe the limits that man in his existential arc from a “God perspective” memory. After talking about life and death, some notions about what might be health and disease, and then address the issue of human pain and suffering is. The importance of capturing those limits as shown task as realities that can extract meaning, once assumed to improve the person becomes engine of its existence. We conclude by appealing to the need for a personal relationship with God in order to adequately address the work that involves the exercise of a health ministry.Quien ejerce la pastoral de la salud se pone en contacto con el hombre total pero también con los límites de la condición humana. Es importante reflexionar sobre quién es el hombre y cuáles son esos límites para poder atenderle integralmente. En el presente escrito se recuerdan algunos conceptos que ayudan a observar los límites que el hombre encuentra en su arco existencial desde una “perspectiva de Dios”. Después de hablar de la vida y la muerte, se ofrecen algunas nociones sobre lo que pueda ser la salud y la enfermedad, para luego tratar el tema del dolor y el sufrimiento humanos. Se muestra la importancia de captar esos límites como tarea y como realidades de las que se puede extraer un sentido, que una vez asumido mejore a la persona y se con-vierte en motor de su existencia. Se concluye apelando a la necesidad de una relación personal con Dios para poder atender adecuadamente las labores que comporta el ejercicio de una Pastoral en salud.
