| dc.description | This article´s goal is to show a wide view of the icon that is Mary and the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. In this walk down history lane we seek to deepen our knowledge about this “truth of faith”, its particular theological value and its intimate relationship with the faith of Christians. This essay is divided in two parts. We start with a summarized review of the his-tory of the Immaculate Conception. Concretely, we will see how the knowledge of this truth has been deepening. In the second part we intend to show the richness of the recent pontifical mastery and to show some practical consequences. | en-US |

En este recorrido histórico se quiere profundizar sobre esta verdad de fe, sobre su particular valor teológico y su intima relación con la vida de fe de los cristianos. Este trabajo tienes dos partes. En la primera se explica muy resumidamente la historia de la Inmaculada Concepción. En concreto veremos cómo se ha ido profundizando en la comprensión de esta verdad. La segunda pretende mostrar la riqueza del magisterio pontificio reciente y sacar algunas consecuencias prácticas. | es-ES |
