El estrés y la discapacidad laboral de los profesores de Educación Física del Sistema Municipal

| dc.description | This research main objective is to know the situation of Physical Education professionals in relation to stress, being a condition that generates work disability. The work is a dimension that foster the generation of stressful states, and there is evidence that teachers are one of the work segments that present the highest levels of stress. Symptoms of anxiety, depression and somatoform's Self Report Questionare. (SRQ-20) was used for the measurement of stress, and although this study is descriptive, we were able to gather other factors' information which are also potent stressors. The results show that 85% of the Physical Education teachers present high levels of stress. Showing with this, the high probability of presenting work disability, which can interfere with their teaching performance and life quality. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo fundamental de esta investigación es conocer la situación de los profesionales de la Educación Física, en relación con el estrés, por ser una condición generadora de discapacidad laboral. El trabajo constituye una de las dimensiones que favorece la generación de estados estresantes y existen evidencias de que son los maestros uno de los segmentos laborales que presenta los más altos niveles de estrés. Se aplicó el auto reporte de síntomas ansiosos, depresivos y somatomorfos Self Report Questionare (SRQ-20) para la medición de estrés y, aunque este estudio es descriptivo, se logró también recoger información de otros factores que son también potentes agentes estresores. Los resultados, nos indican que el 85% de los profesores de educación física tienen altos niveles de estrés. Evidenciándose con ello, la alta probabilidad de presentar una discapacidad laboral, que puede interferir en su desempeño docente y su calidad de vida. | es-ES |
