dc.descriptionIn the following article we will analyze the work Relave: material particulado (2021) by Vicente Rivera in light of two conceptual discussions. First, the question of the ruins as an object of aesthetic observation that acquires particular importance during European romanticism and how it is linked with the question of the landscape. Second, poetry as a critical discourse, which will allow us to situate Rivera’s work and its themes as a way of thinking about the damages of extractivism in the northern Chilean territory. In this way, we hope to account for the intersections between subjectivity, poetic writing, criticism and landscape that allows us to read other poetics of the country.en-US
dc.descriptionEn el siguiente artículo analizaremos la obra Relave: material particulado (2021) de Vicente Rivera a la luz de dos discusiones conceptuales. Primero, la cuestión de las ruinas como objeto de observación estética que adquiere particular importancia durante el romanticismo europeo y cómo se engarza con la cuestión del paisaje. Segundo, la poesía como discurso crítico, que nos permitirá situar la obra de Rivera y sus temas como un modo de pensar los daños del extractivismo en el territorio del norte chileno. De este modo, esperamos dar cuenta de las intersecciones entre subjetividad, escritura poética, crítica y paisaje que nos permita leer otras poéticas del país.es-ES
