dc.descriptionIn this work I propose that, in order to understand violence, it is needed to comprehend the place of subjectivity in the making of violent subjects. This is based on the premise that subjectivity, and the emotions that it implies, create quite a relevant instrument for social analysis since it is not possible to explain any of the political, economical or social processes without them. The subject’s violent acts have been thoroughly analyzed from politics, morality and ethics. But there has been a lack of attention to the emotions, passions, sentiments and affection that also make up the subjectivity of the people. I suggest that violence is an act of individuals who possess emotional universes that have been assimilated by the subjects according to particular experiences in a specific society. This text has the intention of pointing out that we should favor the research of subjectivity, and therefore the research of the affective dimension, before trying to implement interventions that attempt to lead the behavior in order to decrease violence.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este trabajo propongo que para entender la violencia hace falta comprender el lugar que ocupa la subjetividad en la construcción de los sujetos violentos. Parto de la premisa de que la subjetividad y las emociones que ella implica constituyen instrumentos de suma relevancia en el análisis social, ya que no se pueden explicar los procesos de transformaciones política, económica o social sin ellas. Los actos violentos de los sujetos han sido analizados desde la política, la moral y la ética, pero no se ha puesto suficiente atención en las emociones, pasiones, sentimientos y afectos, que también conforman la subjetividad de las personas. Sugiero que la violencia es actuada por individuos que poseen y están inmersos en universos emocionales asimilados en su experiencia particular en una sociedad específica. Este texto tiene la intención de señalar que, antes de implementar intervenciones que tengan la finalidad de incidir en los comportamientos para disminuir la violencia, se debería privilegiar la investigación de la subjetividad y, por ende, de la dimensión afectiva de los sujetos.es-ES
