| dc.description | The objective of the present study was to determine the incidence of sociodemographic variables in the gender stereotypes of graduates/students of 5th year of pedagogy in physical education of the UMCE, in addition to contributing to academic literature on gender stereotypes in education trainers. To carry it out, a sociodemographic survey and the BEM Sexual Roles Inventory were applied, comparing the scores of femininity and masculinity between different variables. The results show that there is no significant difference between graduates and senior students, especially if there are differences in birth sex and religious beliefs. It is recommended to apply this study in different universities and eventually in different careers. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la incidencia de variables sociodemográficas en los estereotipos de género de titulados/as y estudiantes de 5º año de pedagogía en Educación Física de la UMCE, además de aportar a la literatura académica en temas de estereotipos de género en formadores de la educación. Para llevarlo a cabo se aplicó una encuesta sociodemográfica y el Inventario de Roles Sexuales de BEM, comparando los puntajes de femineidad y masculinidad entre diferentes variables. Los resultados muestran que no existe diferencia significativa entre egresados y estudiantes de último año, más si existen diferencias en las variables sexo de nacimiento y creencias religiosas. Se recomienda aplicar este estudio en diferentes universidades y eventualmente en diferentes carreras. | es-ES |
