| dc.description | Textiles, as a practice that transcends the body, have been a testimonial material medium that allows us to build community and "weave" it constantly. Entramando Resistencias is a research-creation project from the discipline of Design, which is articulated around the construction of collective memory and identity from a feminist perspective through domestic textile work. The resignification of popular struggles has been the instrument for vindicating knowledge, identities and creations that have been undermined by official historiography. The materialisation of this research aims at the irreducibility of the experiences and territorial struggles of the women of the Herminda de La Victoria population in Santiago de Chile, both in their individual and collective history, through the design of a work whose decolonising graphic-textile language is observable through its structure and composition, with the aim of fulfilling a social role in order to create the necessary bridges for the reconstruction of identity, memory and popular creation, from a gender and design perspective, with the desire to give voice, prominence and evidence of part of the history of those female inhabitants who are fundamental in the construction of the social fabric. | en-US |
| dc.description | El textil, como práctica que trasciende el cuerpo, ha sido un medio material testimonial que permite construir comunidad y «tejerla» constantemente. Entramando Resistencias es un proyecto de investigación-creación desde la disciplina del Diseño, que se articula en torno a la construcción de memoria e identidad colectiva desde una mirada feminista mediante el quehacer textil doméstico. La resignificación de las luchas populares ha sido el instrumento para reivindicar saberes, identidades y creaciones menoscabadas a lo largo de la historiografía oficial. La materialización de esta investigación apunta a la irreductibilidad de las vivencias y luchas territoriales de las mujeres de la población Herminda de La Victoria en Santiago de Chile, tanto en su historia individual como colectiva, mediante el diseño de una obra cuyo lenguaje gráfico- textil descolonizador es observable a través de su estructura y composición, con la finalidad de cumplir un rol social para crear los necesarios puentes de reconstrucción de identidad, memoria y creación popular, desde una perspectiva de género y diseño, con el anhelo de dar voz, protagonismo y evidenciar parte de la historia de aquellas pobladoras que son fundamentales en la construcción del tejido social. | es-ES |
