dc.descriptionThe article analyzes ephemeral art in public spaces in Lima, Peru, in the 21st century, context marked by the terrorist violence of previous decades, the alteration of the concept of the public, the macroeconomic recovery and the political and institutional crisis of the State. Five works promoted from the institutions or from outside are studied; these are classifiable as Contemporary Art and make use of public space and the architectural image. From a comparativeanalysis, this text studies the approaches between architecture, urban planning and ephemeral art, and to what extent these disciplines can consolidate an exchange of contributions. The conclusions reflect on the impact of these artistic works on a wide and diverse range of the population, unlike galleries and museums. Their contributions to society and the city are evaluated,especially their messages of critical and reflective content through architecture.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo analiza el arte efímero en espacios públicos en Lima, Perú, en el siglo XXI, contexto marcado por la violencia terrorista de décadas previas, la alteración del concepto de lo público, la recuperación macroeconómica y la crisis política e institucional del Estado. Se estudian cinco obras promovidas desde la institucionalidad o desde fuera de ella, estas son clasificables como arte contemporáneo y hacen uso del espacio público y la imagen arquitectónica. Desde un análisis comparativo, este texto estudia los acercamientos entre la arquitectura, el urbanismo y el arte efímero, y en qué medida estas disciplinas pueden consolidar un intercambio de aportes. Las conclusiones reflexionan acerca del impacto de estos trabajos artísticos en un rango amplio y diverso de la población, a diferencia de galerías y museos. Se evalúan sus aportes a la sociedad y a la ciudad, especialmente, sus mensajes de contenido crítico y reflexivo a través de la arquitectura.es-ES
