dc.descriptionThe ways in which the forms of high-risehousing are affected by conventions andvalues present in society are addressed in thispaper, taking as a case study the housingblocks developed in the Corporación de laVivienda of Chile between 1953 and 1976. Thetext discusses the ways in which thisphenomenon acquires the competence to beregular independently of the normaldistribution of its facts and describes the roleof conventions in the organization of thatregularity. Using data from the CatastroNacional de Condominios Sociales of theMinisterio de Vivienda and bibliographic,documentary and planimetric information ofthe mentioned groups, three ways ofexpression of regularity are identified,associated to the seriality, program andtypology of the buildings, in which theconventions serve as structuring elementsindependently to their content, which followsits heuristic utility for the study of theprocesses and repertoires of materialorganization of the societies.en-US
dc.descriptionLos modos cómo las formas de la vivienda en altura son afectadas por convenciones y valores presentes en la sociedad son abordados en este trabajo tomando como estudio de caso los colectivos de vivienda desarrollados en la Corporación de la Vivienda (CORVI) entre 1953 y 1976. El texto discute las maneras en que este fenómeno adquiere la competencia de ser regular de forma independiente a la distribución normal de sus hechos, y describe el papel de las convenciones en la organización de esa regularidad. Utilizando datos del Catastro Nacional de Condominios Sociales del Ministerio de Vivienda e información bibliográfica, documental y planimétrica de los colectivos mencionados, se identifican tres maneras de expresión de la regularidad, asociadas a la serialidad, programa y tipología de las edificaciones, en las que las convenciones sirven como elementos de estructuración independiente a su contenido, lo que siguiere su utilidad heurística para el estudio de los procesos y repertorios de organización material de las sociedades.es-ES
