The following article aims, in principle, to explain the different levels of analysis of the work Déjà vu (tinku-baroque) through the concepts of (con)fusion and déjà vu. In a second instance, it will seek to explore the implications of the work within the framework of what, in Dance Studies, is often referred to as the theory of reenactment. It is argued that through the theatrical manipulation of a sensitive experience linked to history and identity, the work enables new ways of understanding the political functionality of the dances of the past. In this way, historical dances are not exclusively a place of patrimonial preservation but a space for the affirmation and re-foundation of collective identities.El siguiente artículo se propone, primero, explicar los diferentes niveles del análisis de la obra Déjà vu (tinku-barroco) a través de los conceptos de (con)fusión y déjà vu. En una segunda instancia, se buscará explorar las implicancias del trabajo en el marco de lo que, en los estudios de danza, suele conocerse como la teoría del reenactment. Se sostiene que a través de la manipulación teatral de una experiencia sensible ligada a la historia y a la identidad la obra habilita nuevas formas de comprender la funcionalidad política de las danzas del pasado. De ese modo, las danzas históricas no son exclusivamente un lugar de preservación patrimonial sino un espacio de afirmación y refundación de las identidades colectivas.
