dc.descriptionThe first case of bicephalia in a male embryo of the blacktip shark Carcharhinus limbatus in the southern Gulf of Mexico is described. The embryo was found and removed from a pregnant female caught off the coast of Tabasco, Mexico. The specimen had two heads, two dorsal fins, two spine columns conjoined in the pelvic region, two esophagus, and a single stomach.en-US
