This article studies the reception of the works by Boccaccio in the Jurists of the Renaissance, from 1400 to 1640. This topic never has been systematically studied and here a general prospective is proposed by searching quotations to Boccaccio into the legal works. The article attempts to answer four questions: 1) What jurists quoted Boccaccio?; 2) What orientation did these Jurists have?; 3) In what kind of works did the Jurists mention Boccaccio?; 4) Which works of Boccaccio were most cited by Jurists? After the examination of more than a five hundred printed legal works from incunabula to 1640, a chronological and thematic classification is proposed, in order to show the multifaceted reception of Boccaccio among Jurists.Resumen: Este artículo aborda la recepción de las obras de Boccaccio en los juristas del Renacimiento, de 1400 a 1640. Este tema nunca ha sido estudiado sistemáticamente y aquí se propone una perspectiva general, buscando citas a Boccaccio en las obras jurídicas. El artículo intenta responder a cuatro preguntas: 1) ¿Qué juristas citaron a Boccaccio? 2) ¿Qué orientación tenían estos juristas? 3) ¿En qué tipo de obras mencionaron los juristas a Boccaccio? 4) ¿Qué obras de Boccaccio fueron las más citadas por los juristas? Tras el examen de más de quinientas obras jurídicas impresas desde los incunables hasta 1640, se propone una clasificación cronológica y temática, con el fin de mostrar la recepción polifacética de Boccaccio entre los juristas.
