dc.description	This article explores the relationship between Latin American magical realism and Zhaxi Dawa’s novel Tibet: the Mysterious Years. This exceptional relationship (and scarcely researched so far) shows how the parameters of the Latin American narrative were decisive for the development of a new Tibetan novel in the 80s of the last century. This article also explains how the idea of recovering the traditional culture, history and identity suppressed during the Chinese socialist period (1949-1976) oriented Tibetan writers towards a broad assimilation of the ideological and aesthetic concepts of magical realism, radically transforming contemporary Chinese literature.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo explora la relación entre el realismo mágico latinoamericano y la novela Tíbet, años misteriosos de Zhaxi Dawa. Esta relación excepcional (y hasta ahora poco investigada) da cuenta de cómo los parámetros de la narrativa latinoamericana fueron determinantes para el desarrollo de una nueva novela tibetana en la década del 80 del siglo pasado. Este artículo explica, además, cómo la idea de recuperar la cultura tradicional, la historia y la propia identidad suprimidas durante el período socialista chino (1949-1976), orientó a los escritores tibetanos hacia una amplia asimilación de los conceptos ideológicos y estéticos del realismo mágico, transformando radicalmente la literatura china contemporánea.	es-ES
