dc.descriptionIn order to describe the discursive representations in autobiographical texts of young people deprived of liberty enrolled in an educational establishment complementary to the provisional detention center, this research discursively analyzed eight of these stories produced by different students. For this, the theoretical and methodological foundations of the appraisal system, proposed by Martin and White (2005), was used. Specifically, the discursive patterns composed of the meanings of attitude, engagement and gradation were determined and characterized. Consequently, it is qualitative research. Among the main findings, evaluative prosodies stand out, formed by negative assessments through which the vulnerable spaces of their origins are described in terms of danger resulting from the presence of drugs and crime in their daily lives.en-US
dc.descriptionCon el objetivo de describir las representaciones sociales en textos autobiográficos de jóvenes privados de libertad matriculados en un establecimiento educativo complementario al centro de internación provisoria, la presente investigación analizó discursivamente ocho de estos relatos producidos por distintos estudiantes. Para esto, se hizo uso de los fundamentos teóricos y metodológicos del sistema de valoración, propuesto inicialmente por Martin y White (2005). Específicamente, se determinaron y caracterizaron los patrones discursivos compuestos por significados de actitud, compromiso y gradación. Se trata, en consecuencia, de una investigación de naturaleza cualitativa. Entre los principales resultados, se destacan las prosodias evaluativas conformadas por valoraciones de carga negativa por medio de las cuales se describen los espacios vulnerables de sus orígenes en términos de peligrosidad producto de la presencia de drogas y delincuencia en su cotidiano.es-ES
