We understand the Motricities of the South as social practices involving parties, dances, songs, games and storytelling that have particularities of a people located in the South, geographical and/or metaphorical, that imply tradition and resistance to the epistemological domination of colonialism. We did a literature review with the aim of understanding storytelling with children in the hospital context. The survey of the productions was done in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), using the keyword “storytelling”. We found 28 results, 20 with the reading of the title, 14 with the reading of the abstracts and selected 10 products with the reading in full. The narration of stories for children in the hospital context dialogic perspective as an emerging motricity contributes to the construction of knowledge about himself, the reality in which he finds himself and the overcoming of adverse health conditions.Entendemos las Motricidades del Sur como prácticas sociales involucran fiestas, danzas, cantos, juegos y narraciones de historias con rasgos propios de los pueblos latinoamericanos, metafóricamente y/o geográficamente situado en el Sur, que implican tradición y resistencia a la dominación epistemológica del colonialismo. Así, hicimos una revisión de literatura con el objetivo de comprender la narración de historias con niños en el contexto hospitalario. El levantamiento de las producciones fue hecho en el Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), utilizando la palabra-clave “narraciones de historias”. Encontramos 28 resultados, 20 con la lectura del título, 14 con la lectura de los resúmenes y seleccionamos 10 producciones con la lectura completa. La narración de historias para niños en el contexto hospitalario desde la perspectiva dialógica como una motricidad emergente contribuye a la construcción del conocimiento sobre sí mismo, la realidad en que se encuentra y la superación de condiciones adversas de salud.
