| dc.description | We find ourselves at a time with great global challenges related to the health and well-being of human beings, both emotionally, cognitively, and physically, challenges that must be addressed from an economic point of view and incorporated by the various sectors. In this framework, the built environment and architecture as a discipline play a crucial role, since human beings develop within these spaces that we design. For this reason, neuroarchitecture is presented as a path of action. This essay describes what it means to carry out projects with neuroscientific bases, identifying what their challenges are, from a temporal and economic point of view. It also presents the proposal of a model that seeks to understand the impacts, in the short and long term, that this can have on the social and private sector. Among the main conclusions, the importance of contributing to better neurodevelopment in the first years of life stands out, which will impact improvements in the performance of human activities and positive and healthier aging. | en |
| dc.description | Nos encontramos en un momento con grandes desafíos a nivel mundial relativos a la salud y el bienestar de los seres humanos, tanto a nivel emocional, cognitivo como físico, desafíos que deben ser abordados desde el punto de vista social e incorporados por los diversos sectores. En este marco, el entorno construido y la arquitectura como disciplina, juegan un papel crucial, ya que los seres humanos nos desarrollamos dentro de estos espacios que diseñamos. Por lo anterior, la neuroarquitectura se presenta como una vía de acción. El presente ensayo describe lo que significa realizar proyectos con bases neurocientíficas, identificando cuáles son sus retos, desde el punto de vista temporal y económico. También presenta la propuesta de un modelo que busca comprender los impactos, a corto y largo plazo, que esto puede tener en el sector social y privado. Dentro de las principales conclusiones, destaca la importancia de contribuir a un mejor neurodesarrollo en los primeros años de vida, lo que repercutirá en mejoras del desempeño de las actividades humanas y en un envejecimiento positivo y más saludable. | es |
