| dc.description | This article reflects on Physical Education in Colombia and its transformations as a fundamental part of the construction of knowledge around the body, the subject, and movement within the educational process; through southern epistemologies. From a theoretical perspective, it is argued that motor skill activities including traditional, ancestral, and/or autochthonous ones, linked to the history and culture of the peoples; contribute to the integral human formation, promoting harmony between body, mind and spirit. The need to recover and value these recreational practices as an alternative to the homogenization and standardization promoted by globalization is highlighted. In this sense, physical education professionals are invited to reflect on their role in the promotion and discovery of motor skill activities, and their contribution to the formation of people who are more aware and respectful of their culture and environment. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el artículo se reflexiona sobre la educación física en Colombia y sus transformaciones, como parte fundamental de la construcción de saberes en torno al cuerpo, al sujeto y al movimiento dentro del proceso educativo; a través de las epistemologías del sur. Desde una perspectiva teórica se argumenta que los juegos motrices entre ellos los tradicionales, ancestrales y/o autóctonos ligados a la historia y cultura de los pueblos que, contribuyen a la formación integral humana, promoviendo la armonía entre cuerpo, mente y espíritu. Se destaca la necesidad de recuperar y valorar estas prácticas lúdicas como una alternativa a la homogenización y la estandarización que promueve la globalización. En este sentido, se invita a los profesionales en educación física a reflexionar sobre su papel en la promoción y preservación de los juegos motrices y su aporte en la formación de personas más conscientes y respetuosos de su cultura y su entorno. | es-ES |
