dc.descriptionThis note is the result of some reflections generated from reading the book Women in the History of Linguistics (Ayres-Bennett and Sanson, editors, Oxford University Press, 2020). Some of the most relevant aspects of this text, related to codifications and linguistic fieldwork, will be presented below in a thematic data format. The purpose is to chronologically account for various issues, namely: the history of women in linguistics, first as assistants often silenced by official historiography, and secondly, the contribution of women as producers, authors, and compilers of different textualizations in their coding phase, such as grammars, dictionaries, metalinguistic studies, among others. The goal is to present a panoramic document that provides a comprehensive overview of an absolutely necessary state of affairs in an era where the inclusion and recognition of the work of these women must be acknowledged and valued.en-US
dc.descriptionEsta nota es el resultado de algunas de las reflexiones generadas a partir de la lectura del libro Women in the History of Linguistics (Ayres-Bennett y Sanson, editoras, Oxford University Press 2020). Algunos de los aspectos más relevantes de este texto, que tiene que ver con codificaciones y trabajos lingüísticos de campo, son los que se presentarán a continuación, a manera de datos tematizados. La finalidad es dar cuenta, de manera cronológica, de sendas cuestiones, a saber: de la historia de las mujeres en la lingüística primero como asistentes, muchas veces silenciadas por la historiografía oficial y, en segundo lugar, el concurso de las mujeres, como productoras, autoras y compiladoras de diferentes textualizaciones en su etapa de codificación, como gramáticas, diccionarios y estudios metalingüísticos, entre otros. La finalidad es presentar un documento panorámico que dé cuenta de manera global de un estado de la cuestión absolutamente necesario en una época en donde la inclusión y el reconocimiento a la labor de estas mujeres debe ser reconocido y valorado.es-ES
