The view about the human being, man-women, about his meaning and existence will be with us forever. Asking about what makes us really humans, from our real context in Latin America, implies for theology to start considering the human being, his very reality, to see here and now what makes the life possible. So our theological effort, heir to the tradition, must begin with a method that makes us go back to the real context of our Latin America situation, where we articulate elements looking for new and inspiring results. To start from the very reality of inhumanity or anti-humanity, denial of the human condition due to the same daily reality lived in many places of our Latin America, let us to find there the presence of humanity and the standing of the human status as an alternative reality and an alterity dynamics emerging as a radical commitment from the Gospel.La mirada sobre el hombre, varón-mujer, en orden a su sentido y existencia nos acompañará siempre. Interrogarnos sobre lo que nos hace verdaderamente humanos a partir de nuestra realidad concreta de América Latina desde el quehacer teológico, nos exige partir del mismo hombre, de su misma realidad, un ver en el aquí y ahora lo que le hace posible la vida. De ahí que nuestro trabajo teológico, heredero de la tradi-ción, ha de comenzar de un método que nos vuelca sobre el contexto real de nuestra realidad latinoamericana, en donde se articulan los elementos en búsqueda de nuevos e inspiradores resultados. El aporte de partir de la misma realidad de inhumanidad o antihumanidad, de negación de lo humano, dado por la misma realidad que se vive en muchos lugares de nuestra América Latina como cotidianidad, nos lleva descubrir allí mismo la presencia de humanidad y afirmación de lo humano que se levanta como realidad alternativa y dinámica de alteridad que surge como visión de compromiso radical a partir del Evangelio.
